What it means to be educated

To be educated means for someone to have knowledge in many different aspects of life, that will help you have a better grasp of your beliefs, knowledge and your life. It is important to have a wide range of education, because there are many different situations in life that you will need to be informed on. A big part of education, in my opinion should be done outside of the classroom. It is vital for someone to have experiences that they can look back to and learn from them. In contrary to Mark Edmundon, and the "lite college education experience, education should be relaxed and you should have a important say in what you learn. Education should not be forced it should be wanted. College is a great time to learn, and you find out what you should want from it. I think the only person that can decide what it means to be educated is yourself. If you want to learn that it is achievable and it is important to know what you want from education.
