What it means to be Educated

1. to be educated means that you went to school to further your knowledge. Some people will go to high school some will go even farther and get a college degree.

2. There are many people who decided if you are educated or not. One of which is the government who use standardized test to tell if you are "smart enough." Also College acceptance boards decided if you are educated enough to get into there school. Last employers decided if you are educated enough to work for them.

  1. Something interesting that I realized in your post was how there can be different educations that create educated people, but there is no certain "look" of what that is. Employers can decide who is educated as you said, but if I interviewed at a chemical plant, they would think I was just stupid by how little I know. However someone who has received an education in chemistry, might not be able to know about something I do. Employers is such a wide group of people, so there is many different trades and skills someone can have to be considered educated. I guess that's kind of obvious, but I hadn't realized that haha.
